
Six Favorite Teachers HonoredPSD Teachers Honored in My Favorite Teacher Essay Contest
Congratulations to six PSD teachers, recently selected as winners in Barnes and Noble bookstore’s My Favorite Teacher awards contest. Winning teachers were nominated by essay and honored at special reception.
“Hundreds of essays were submitted, which made the judging process so difficult, but it was wonderful to see how many terrific teachers we have working here in PSD,” said Cassondra Windwalker, Barnes & Noble community relations manager.
Susan Wagner, Beattie Elementary kindergarten teacher, nominated by Caleb Cripe; Eric Hess of Johnson Elementary, nominated by Chris Cathcart; Karen Iverson of Tavelli Elementary, nominated by Jackson Burrell; Marty Marsh of Lesher International Baccalaureate Middle School nominated by Cassidy Bacon Leaf, and , Chris Bergmann of Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School, nominated by Hannah Manning; and Barry Limon, also of Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School, nominated by Lorena Martinez.
