Bike Rodeo for 4th and 5th graders

Rick Price (in yellow coat), who helped found the Fort Collins Bike Library, now helps out at the Fort Collins Bike Co-Op where he is the Safe Cycling Coordinator. He has been leading bike safety classes since 1985 and has led bike tours in over 23 countries.
4^th and 5^th graders at O’Dea have been enjoying his bike safety class along with PE teacher, Nathan Mohs.
Rick and his fellow volunteers, Kevin Tomascik and Maureen Newcomb, have been instilling the following core concepts:

- Be predictable

- Be visible

- Follow the rules of the road, and

- Wear a helmet
