National Teacher Day May 8Great Teachers Make Great Public Schools National Teacher Day Tuesday, May 8
Teachers in Poudre School District and in thousands of communities across the nation will be in the spotlight on May 8 as students, parents, school administrators, celebrate National Teacher Day.
This year’s theme “Great Teachers Make Great Public Schools” draws attention to the crucial role our teachers have in making sure every child receives a quality public education. It also communicates the hard work teachers do each day to make public schools great for every child.
“With the culmination of the school year just around the corner, I want to compliment teachers on the outstanding instruction and the engaging, caring learning environment they provide. Their dedication to our students makes a huge difference in the lives of thousands of children every day,” said Dr. Jerry Wilson, Superintendent of Schools.
