Mitchell tries to connect with students of all ages about her love of writing and brings the writing process to life with her down to earth, practical presentation

Mitchell’s titles include the picture books Joe Cinders, Gullywasher Gulch, and Maya Moon. Her mid-grade novels include Finding Zola and Firebug.
