Dark, Brooding One-Acts Presented by Fort Collins High School
Fort Collins High School Tower Theater will present Other Places & Revue Sketches eight one-acts by Harold Pinte at 7:00 p.m., November 15, 16, & 17 in the McNeal Performing Art Center. These are dark and brooding acts that run the gamut of fear, terror, estrangement, confusion, torment, and loss. Tickets are $5 for general admission and are available at the door beginning 6:00 each performance night.
‘Victoria Station’ is a dialogue between two men both lost in the night and in themselves.
‘Request Stop’ highlights the insanity of a woman who cannot resist tormenting those around her
‘That’s All’ is an eerie and comedic conversation between two women discussing daily routines
‘A Kind of Alaska’ focuses on the psychological results of losing 29 years to sleeping sickness
“One for the Road’ follows the tortures of a government against a defiant family
‘Special Offer’ shows a woman wondering if a flyer proclaiming “men for sale” is true.
‘That’s Your Trouble’ plays out an argument between two friends about pain and suffering
‘Family Voices’ attempts to trace letters between a mother and her son sent but never received
