Robotics Teams Advance to Lego Robotics State Competition
LEGO Robotics Teams of students from Poudre elementary and junior high schools have earned the right to compete at the state level after scoring high in two local qualifying events that took place in November in Berthoud and Fort Collins. The state competition For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, or FIRST, LEGO League robotics competition is scheduled Dec. 15 at the Auraria Event Center, Auraria Campus, between Auraria Parkway, Speer Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.
Elementary Schools Include:

• Blackout team, Werner Elementary School
• Electric Chickens team, Werner Elementary
• Dunn Dolphins, Dunn Elementary
• R2-D2s team, Traut Core Knowledge School
• DinoEnergy, Zach Elementary
