Public Invited to District Advisory Board’s Annual Forum on Education

The community is invited to attend and ask questions during the District Advisory Board’s Annual Forum on Public Education, which will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, December 13, in the conference room at the Johannsen Support Services Complex, 2407 LaPorte. 

A panel of Northern Colorado state legislators will attend to answer questions about education.  Sponsored by DAB.  State representatives John Kefalas, Randy Fisher, and State Senator Bob Bacon will be available to answer questions.

A moderator will ask questions from the public submitted on 3 x 5 cards. All representatives will have an opportunity to respond to the questions.

“This is an opportunity for the community, with their representatives, to help set the agenda before the first session of the legislature starts,” says Ben Stein, a DAB representative.

The District Advisory Board includes parent representatives from Poudre School District schools.
