
Tavelli Welcomes New PrincipalHendricks Named Principal for Tavelli Elementary
Poudre School District is pleased to announce that Christine Hendricks has accepted the position of principal for Tavelli Elementary School.
An interview team comprised of Tavelli staff members and parents, facilitated by a district administrator, led the selection process. The interview team then selected and forwarded candidates to Dr. Jerry Wilson, superintendent, and Dr. Kevin Hahn, assistant superintendent of elementary schools. Drs. Wilson and Hahn are recommending Ms. Hendricks from a strong field of candidates.
Ms. Hendricks has served Grant Elementary School in Glenrock, Wyoming as a principal since 1997. She also has 12 years of elementary teaching experience. From 1986-1997, she was an elementary teacher in Albany County School District #1, in Laramie, Wyoming and she taught for the Converse County School District #2 in Glenrock, Wyoming in 1985.
Ms. Hendricks’ qualifications also include principal licensure and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Wyoming, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Montana State University.
“We are excited that Ms. Hendricks will be recommended as the principal for Tavelli Elementary and know that her 24 years of education experience will be an asset to the parents, students, and staff members of Tavelli,” says Kevin Hahn, Ph.D., assistant superintendent of elementary schools.
