Class Info

Beattie students are grouped by grade level into teaching 
units named after places in Colorado.

   Bear Lake - Kindergarten
   Evergreen - First grade
   Castle Rock - Second grade
   Silverton - Third grade
   Mesa Verde - Fourth grade
   Long's Peak - Fifth grade
   Independence Pass - Sixth grade

Other names you'll hear include: Tabor Center and Larimer Square for our special needs and resource students; Four Corners are the specials classes  (Music, Art, P.E. and the Media Center); Lighthouse is the Gifted/Talented program; Fairplay is our counseling area; and Tiny Town houses our Head Start preschoolers.

Follow the matching color lines on the ceiling from the office to the Blue Pod (Silverton, Castle Rock, Tabor Center, and Larimer Square), the Yellow Pod (Independance Pass and Evergreen), and the Red Pod (Fairplay, Long's Peak, and Mesa Verde).
