Wellness Week

PSD's Wellness Week.

During our first year of Wellness awareness, Eyestone's Wellness Committee is planning activities for students, staff and hopefully families.  Watch for information about the upcoming Annual Field Day, Family Fitness Nights and so much more. 

• Mrs. Fetzer is planning to shake things up a bit and bring a new look to our Annual Field Day.  New games and activities, incorporate wellness into the classroom when students aren't outside and provide health and wellness information and demonstrations provided by Poudre Valley Hospital.   If you would like to volunteer to help during the Annual Field Day, please contact Mrs. Fetzer, sfetzer@psdschools.org. 
• Family Fitness Night, currently planned for Fall 2009, will include activites such as: demonstrations from Wellington's health community, basketball in the gym, cup stacking, jump rope, hula hooping, yoga for all ages, and Wii Boxing in the Media Center.  If this sounds like something you would like to help plan, setup or coordinate, please contact Carly Cooley, ccooley@psdschools.org or Trina Garlo, tgarlo@psdschools.org.
