Welcome to First Grade!

We love O’Dea Core Knowledge Elementary and we hope you will too. As you can imagine, first grade is an exciting year full of fun and learning. This year we have two first grade classroom and one kindergarten/first grade multi-age classroom. Your first grade teachers are Mrs. Jen Morris, Mrs. Cydney Way-Devine, and Mrs. Leslie Butler. We have 53 years of combined teaching experience! It is an amazing thing to watch a child grow and learn and we love being a part of that every day!

Here are some important things to know about first grade:

• School is FUN!
• Get a good night sleep every night
• Eat a healthy breakfast each day
• Bring a healthy morning snack
• Wear a smile J
• Bring a water bottle
• Be ready to learn and work hard
