Teagan is a 3rd grade teacher this year. She has also taught 2nd and 3rd grade literacy, as well as 4th grade during her 5 years as a teacher. She has her Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed, and will finish her Masters in the Fall of 2008, Teagan’s hobbies are playing soccer, snowboarding and running half marathons with her husband, and they both also love to watch her step-son swim. The part of teaching that Teagan loves most as a teacher is “The sense of accomplishment that the students have when they complete an assignment with understanding.” |
Kristen is currently a 3rd grade teacher but has also taught 4th grade and 2nd grade. She has been teaching at Putnam since 2003. Kristen holds a Master’s degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Her hobbies are skiing, yoga, and reading. When asked why she loves teaching she said, “I love the changes I see in students from the beginning of the year to the end. It is amazing to watch how much they learn and grow in such a short period of time. I also love to read their writing; they write so many entertaining and creative stories.” |
Stefanie is teaching 3rd grade at Putnam and this is her third year as a classroom teacher. She has her BS in Human Development with an Elementary Licensure. She will be working on her Masters degree this summer. Stefanie’s hobbies are hiking fourteeners, backpacking, indoor rock climbing, and working with the intermediate kids with Break-It. When asked what she loves about teaching, Stefanie replied, "There are so many things! I love the lightheartedness and humor I get from my students. I think that children are amazing and I enjoy how much I learn from them! My students seem to bring out the best in me and I hope to do the same for them. When I am with my kids, I feel energized and my creative side really comes out! |
