Nicole is currently teaching 4th grade, but has also taught 6th grade. She has taught a developmental reading intervention program for grades K-6. She has 9 years of experience and has a BS in Marketing and a MA in Multicultural Education. Nicole’s hobbies are spending time with her family, photography, designing and making glass jewelry, and hiking while enjoying the outdoors in beautiful Colorado. Nicole said, “I love teaching because I love seeing ‘the light bulb’ come on when a kid finally figures something out. It feels great knowing that I had a part in making that bulb light. I’m very passionate about reading. I’m enjoying the challenge of getting all students to love it as much as I do. I feel the same way about writing. It is my personal mission to get all kids to love to write.”
