The staff at Riffenburgh Elementary School, with the support of parents on our School Improvement Team (SIT) and the Riffenburgh PTO, are pursuing completion of requirements to become an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program.
We will continue implementing aspects of the IB program throughout the 2011-12 school year so that our current students can benefit from this integrated approach that helps students to make connections across curriculum areas.
Please join us for an informative evening about the IB programme, our accomplishments to date, and time line for full recognition by IBO as an IB World School. The meeting will be held on January 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Riffenburgh Media Center. More information about IBO can be found at www.ibo.org
