I love what I do at Shepardson...because everyday is a new adventure and journey into learning. First graders are the most amazing young beings with so much learning enthusiasm and zest for life. Teaching is the most challenging, invigorating and rewarding job I know (next to being a parent of course.)
My favorite author is Audrey Wood. I love reading and sharing her books such as King Bidgood's in the Bathtub and Won't Get Out, The Napping House and Silly Sally. I love to runaway and engross myself with a good mystery or romance novel any time I have the chance to.
My hobbies include...enjoying life with my husband and two amazing daughters, family and friends, playing anywhere and anytime, creative endeavors, reading, almost anything outside and with nature, exploring new places and people, tennis and biking.
I love Shepardson because it has been my home away from home for the past 11 years. The staff, families and children are my 2nd family. It is an honor to share the same vision and love of learning and children with so many gifted and talented teachers and staff. The love and care each and every member of the Shepardson staff is evident everyday. I am proud to share a school with so many educators and support staff that care for each and every student and their individuality. |
