I enjoy what I do at Shepardson because... I love to see the light in the eyes of children when they learn new things. And, as one of my students commented when asked what he thought about second grade, "I like the ideas people come up with." I love the opportunity I get to see all the different ways people think and problem solve.
My favorite book is... Wow, that's a tough one. Here are a few...a favorite chapter book: "Because of Winn Dixie", a favorite non-fiction book: "Owen & Mzee, the True Story of a Remarkable Friendship", a favorite picture book: "Tacky the Penguin".
My hobbies and interests include... knitting, gardening , photography, hiking, biking, and of course reading. I love animals. I am definitely a dog person. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I love Shepardson because... it is a wonderful community of involved students, parents, and teachers. |
