One day the circus came to town. Ft. Collins wouldn't allow the circus to unload the animals from the train there. The circus decided to unload in Timnath. As they unloaded a twenty foot python got loose. It was said that the python made a home in the reservoir, and every once in a while a farmer would find a cow missing or some other kind of livestalk missing. So if you ever hear about some kind of animal missing from a farmer's herd you'll know the truth.
One day Dave Elliot was helping his boss, Jack Smiley, work in the reservoir. Smiley fell in the reservoir. Dave tried to pull him out, but he was too heavy. Dave decided to jump in and pull him out. Dave was successful in his attempt to pull him out. When Dave got Jack home, Jack told him to go back and get his boots even after he saved his life.

David's Personal Processing Page I created this page about the reservoir when I was in the sixth grade as a part of my final choice class. I chose this topic because I thought it would be interesting to find out more about the reservoir. I also wanted to know what kind of wildlife lived around the Timnath reservoir.
My most helpful resource was probably interviewing Keith Shader and Dave Elliot. Everything was slow before I got to interviewing the people of Timnath. I wasn¹t nervous at all while interviewing. I knew I needed information and I really didn¹t care how I got it. I really liked the stories that Dave Elliot told me. I also found it interesting when Keith Shader told me that the rare grebe lived in the reservoir, and that was one of the only places it could be found. All of it was interesting. It was fun to interview. The stories that the people told were great. They seemed to know a lot.
I would like to thank every one of the people that took the time to come and help me with my project. I couldn¹t have done it without them.
I thought that the best part about the project was getting to know more about the little town of Timnath. I think the future researchers should find more stories. It is very fun to listen to the people tell them to you. I think I could have found out more stories about the reservoir and other places around the Timnath. I hope that the stories that I wrote will become known throughout Timnath.
