- Always be respectful to yourself, your peers, and the equipment.
- Sportsmanship and learning are far more important than winning.
- Please do not put down others. Always be positive and encouraging.
- Push yourself to do the very best you can.
- The harder you work, the better your grade.

HEALTH CURRICULUM
2007-2008
- Wellness and Total Health- lifestyle choices, appearance, proper hygiene
- Personal Wellness- mental, social, and physical health, nutritional needs, the body’s systems
- Family and Peer Relationships- emotional health, communication skills, conflict resolution, issues concerning sexual harassment
- Prevention of Illness and Injury- safety, lifestyle diseases, AIDS, communicable and non-communicable diseases, effects of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs
- Body Systems- how body systems work and function as a machine
- Growth and Development- reproduction, puberty, pregnancy, sexual responsibilities and issues, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and sexual orientation
- Drug Use/Abuse- types of drugs, drug dangers, decision-making, peer pressure, and use of refusal skills
