We use Positve Behavior Intervention Support, PBIS, to help us monitor behaviors and honor those student who make good choices each day at school!  We celebrate our UK Students of the Week (United Kids is our social norms campaign), Students of the Week for each teacher, high flyers and those students earning feathers.  Student awards are posted on bulletin boards througout the school.

In addition, we use W.E.B., Where Everybody Belongs, as a peer mentoring group.  Selected 8th graders become W.E.B. leaders and work each week during WINGS Wednesdays, with 6th graders, on positive activities and messaging.  Our W.E.B. leaders volunteer for all 5th grade orientations and are our "good will ambassadors" each day.

United Kids of Wellington Middle School is our social norms campaign designed to celebrate the positive based on current research in our building.  Currenlty, 89% of our students do not spread rumors.  Most of us are doing the right thing at school and at home.
