Chess Club

Chess is a great game for everyone! Beginners can play once they know basic moves. And experienced players can challenge themselves by learning strategy. Everyone learns to think ahead. The first Chess Club began 2001-2002 school year, thanks to parent volunteers!

Students sign-up and then are divided into team to meet every other week after school and divided by skill level. Anyone can join: novice (never played), beginner (knows basic moves and how to start), intermediate (knows different strategies and end games), advanced (you know who you are).
