     Speaker Series Presentation:  Nancy Evans, RN, Open Pathways.  “Transforming Learning Difficulties into Love of Learning”.  You will learn how stress impacts learning and brain function, including emotions, memory and mental clarity, and how you can reduce some of these negative effects with simple techniques you can do at home.

October 2011
     Speaker Series Presentation:  Kent Fahrenbruck, Director of Character First, “Could You Recognize Good Character If You Saw It?”.  Building a “Culture of Character” in our families is a lot of work.  Often we spend too much time on correction and overlook the positive character demonstrated in our families.  This session will reinforce the importance of looking for good character and praising each other when we see it in action.
