Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park

     The park is located on State Highway 34 in the Big Thompson River Canyon.  It is a great place for fifth graders to study the Colorado Life Zones.  According to a visitor to the park, Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park is "a park away from the city that offers reflection, solitude, and rejuvenation. It is a jewel that cannot be replaced."
