Mr. Braaten was born in New Port Beach, California and attended elementary school at Kemper Elementary School in Cortez, Colorado. He has taught at Werner Elementary for 11 years in First and Sixth Grades. His hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, reading, and traveling. On the weekends he likes to ski, hike, bike, camp, and read. Mr. Braaten lives with his wife.
